Sitting pretty

with Santa that is. Both Kade and Ella did great with Santa this year! No screaming like last year! Kade walked up sat with Santa, Santa told me Kade said he wanted "toys." He sat for his picture and was done. Ella, well she didn't have a clue what was going on. I sat her with Santa and she just looked around, probably thought all this was weird. Then we got a picture with both kids together and we were done! So simple and easy. Last year was a traumatic experience for Kade, so I was so happy there were no tears this year! We went to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa and they had a bunch of stuff for kids to do. Including coloring, a carousel ride, and a free wild lunch with a bunch of toddlers.

I predict that next year Kade will walk up to Santa with a list of things that he wants, sit in his lap, smile for the picture and be done. And that Ella will scream her little head off.
