Conversations with Kade

I keep meaning to write this down, this was after his first day of school. 

Me: How was school?! 

Kade: It was great!

Me: Did you have fun?

Kade: ya!

Me: What did you have for snack?

Kade: Goldfish

Me: What did you do during PE?

Kade: played lots of games and ran around

Insert 20 minutes of Q and A's about his first day here. 

Kade: sigh.... Mama, can you just send Daddy's phone to school with me?

Me: what?! No I can't do that, why??

Kade: So you can call and ask me what I am doing during school so you won't ask me all these questions on the way home. It makes me tired. 

That boy. I love him with my whole heart. And I want to keep him this age FOREVER!
