Philly for the 4th

This year for the 4th we decided to go somewhere on our list that we hadn't been. We both wanted to visit philly before the move and so we figured we should go for the 4th. I mean it is the birthplace of the US and where it all began!

Thomas J reading the Declaration of Independence.

We visited Betset Ross' house.

USA! USA!

Ella helped with a flag raising.

The kids were really excited about this Texas donkey. So random.

We stopped by the oldest, and possibly the cutest, street in America.

We found our seats for the parade.

Hattie fell asleep (without crying!!) in the stroller for the first time in her 10.5 months of life. I definitely had to document, ha!

Miss America! Ella said she must be the princess of the USA. :)

The liberty bell

We made it home in time to shower, put jammies on, and then go watch a local fireworks show.

It was a fun fun day of adventures with my people!
