Pumpkin Patch!

On Friday we met some friends at the pumpkin patch! We have had a busy month so this was our first chance to get to a patch. We missed Kade's school field trip because we were at Disney World so we were happy to have a chance to go back to the farm. This farm is right up the road from the house and the property is gorgeous. We took a hayride, played on the playground, we did a mini corn maze, fed farm animals, and picked out some pumpkins. The air was cool and crisp and it was the perfect morning at the patch. 

The kids could have played in the sand all day long. 

We opted for the small corn maze. We had a group of probably 10 kids. This way no one would get lost, haha! 

After the maze it was our turn to take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch! 

I love that they actually get to pick a pumpkin off the vine! 

Ella found hers pretty fast but Kade took his time and searched for the perfect pumpkin. 

Ella had Kade carry her pumpkin, poor guy. That will probably be the story of his life. 

Back on the hayride, pumpkins in hand! 

Don't let that smile fool you, she had just had a meltdown. ;)

After the hayride we went to feed the farm animals. 

It was a great morning at the patch!
