Easter

Easter was wonderful. Just perfect. The kids woke up to the news that the Easter Bunny had left them some goodies! After playing and breakfast we loaded up and went to church. Church was great and the service was wonderful. After church we went to brunch with my parents and Kyle. Then home to hunt for the eggs the bunny left and naps for all! Great and wonderful day!

Pre-Easter festivities

Friday and Saturday before Easter we had a lot of funactivites lined up! There was egg dying, egg hunts with the neighborhood kids, and an Easter party with my family! Kad eloved egg dying. He was totally into it this year! And after we finished with the eggs he asked for more to "decorwate." Love holidays with kids!!!!!

The next day we had our neighborhood egg hunt! We love our little neighborhood and all the friends we have made here! We were sad it was our last egg hunt in Oakhurst!

And then we finished up the night at my parents. No egg hunts, just hanging out, eating, some of the crazies swam, and we had a wonderful time as always!

Can I see your license?

Almost everyday around 5 we head down to the park. By 5, my mama patience is wearing thin, both kids become clingy, it's a rough time of day for us. So we typically head down to the park. Fresh air does everyone some good! Kade plays and Ella watches or swings and we stay until Bryan gets home around 5:30. It's a glorious sight to see his car pull down our street. We all cheer! He knows to look for us, he stops for a second and we all head home in much better moods. We have started the bad habit of letting Kade drive home with Bryan. Little man thinks he is HOT STUFF!

Bluebonnets 2012

A month ago I loaded the kids up and went out to take pictures of them in the bluebonnets. I was too scared stop at some good patches on the side of the highway, so I went to a nature center in Southlake and they had the smallest patch of bluebonnets ever. But who cares, I just wanted one or two. My kids were so good!!! I mean, they were SO GOOD! But you can hardly tell that there are bluebonnets in the pictures and the sun was way too bright....Oh well, we will try again next year!
