Kinder field trip!

This was Kade's fourth field trip this year but it was definitely the biggest one and it was the first one I got to chaperone! We spent our day at the National Zoo and it was a blast! I loved getting to be with Kade, all his friends, and their moms.

I shared a seat with Kade and his BFF. They were wild and crazy on the drive down.

It was definitely not lost on me how cool it was to pass the White House, Capital, and Monument on our way!

We joined forces with a couple other kind and headed out with our crew. First stop was the pandas! There isn't much cuter than a little baby panda!

It was in the elephant exhibit that I realized kades friend (who I was in charge of) is a wanderer. I almost had a panic attack and spent the rest of the day double checking where he was.

Sweet kinder babies!

Of course they all wanted to ride the carousel.

Kade came around going look no hands! Just an everyday daredevil....

Roaring like a tiger. They were so proud, they were loud enough to wake up the sleeping tiger...

We had such a fun day!

Ella- PreK 3

Nats game

When Bryan decided to take Ella to medieval times I decided I wanted a fun date with Kade! Now that he is in school I feel like I never get him to myself! We both love basebal so picking a Nats game was a no brainier. We went last night and had the best time ever! I bought a groupon for the game and we had the best seats for such a cheap price. Kade walked away with three free souvineer a because he is awesome. First he caught a hat, then he caught a shirt, and last up (but the most exciting!) a catcher tossed him a ball after they were finished warming up between innings. It made his entire night, week, and even year. So cool!

Tons of foul balls were landing all around is so I was a little nervous.

He ran over after he caught the hat and threw it on my head. He was so proud!

Sooooo excited!

Leaving with all of his loot, that's one lucky little dude!

April SNOW showers...

......bring May flowers???

This surprise snow was CRAZY!

Cherry blossom run

I entered in the lottery to run the Cherry Blossom 10miler this year and got picked! However the day of the race was one of the windiest days we've experienced here and it was COLD. So after a little thought I decided to run the 5k instead. The day of the race I was so thankful because running across the river with the cold and wind was not fun!

April photo dump!

Kade learned about April fools jokes and put this "hit me" sign in Ella's back. She thought it said "Ella is the best sister" and was soooo proud.

Sibling snuggles

Hattie bear cried all day this day. All day. We sent this picture to Bryan when he said he might be a little late, I told him I was giving him the same look. :)

Super Dad at kades practice

Unfortunately the Barbies hair was the only casualty..

The trees in our culda sac alternate white and pink when they bloom for spring. So pretty!

Birthday date night!

Bryan took EC on a date to medieval times!

These days getting one on one time with the kids is hard. We are busy and I normally never have a single second to myself so whenever I can have some peace and quiet I take it. But I went to get a pedicure and took Ella with me and she got to get her toes painted. One on one time is so good for us. Kade was excited because it meant he got to start home and play Wii with Bryan. :)

She wasn't letting that asparagus go!
