Homeowners again!

As of Thursday we are homeowners again! We are both SO excited about this home. It has a great mix of what both of us like and the style is me to a "T". The kitchen and living room need some work but we are postponing until after we get more settled. Our household good were suppose to be here on Friday giving us the long holiday weekend to get unpacked but there was a mix up and they won't be here until Wednesday. After a initial meltdown on my end, it's all worked out for the best. We have been at the house the past two days painting and doing a few things that we wanted before the movers came!

Heading in for the first time!

They have played and played in the backyard!

We painted Kade's room as well has Ella's new bed!

On their birthdays we surprised them with a trampoline so that was priority once the house was ours! We are all loving it!

We took the carpet out of the guest room because there were wood floors underneath!

I have to brag on these two. The past few days we have been at the house at 9am and haven't left until close to 6. Barely any naps for Ella and Kade has played and worked so hard and neither have melted down. The have been the biggest troopers!

Ella turns 2!

Our sweet baby turned TWO on Tuesday! We celebrated her all day!

She went to bed a 1 year old..

And woke up a TWO year old!

We went to the mall to walk around and let the kids play!

Birthday girl got chic fil a for lunch!

After naps we decided to go back to the park we loved so much the day before!

Ella got to push the buttons for the elevator all day. Trust me, it's a big deal. :)

Then it was back home for baths, dinner, cupcakes, and presents!

Party guests!

She might only be two, but she knew it was all about her!

Kade turns 4!

Yesterday my sweet first born turned FOUR! It's crazy to think that he is four! I have other posts I need to do about his well visit, what he is up to, a s his birthday interview but for now this is just what he did on his actual birthday!

He went to bed a 3 year old...

And woke up a 4 year old!

The first thing we did was head down for breakfast!

Then we played some Mickey Surprise Slides.

We played all morning at the hotel and then these two had lunch.

Then we loaded up and got some ice cream!

Then we found a new park that is really close to our new house. Hands down, prettiest park I've ever seen! We will be A LOT!

We went back to the hotel for dinner, cupcakes, and presents!

It was an absolute wonderful day celebrating our FOUR year old!

Texas --> Maryland

On Saturday afternoon we said goodbye to our families and flew out of Texas to our new home in Maryland. That day was long and very emotionally and physically draining. We were so sad to leave family and friends. We cried many tears but in the end we are very excited for this opportunity. After a good nights sleep (seriously we all slept hard that night) we woke up and went our to get to know our new town! We found an awesome park for the kids and let them burn off some energy! Next, we had our final walk through on our house! I was excited to see it again. And it was even better having the kids with us! They were so excited and wanted to know which room was theirs, etc! The best part was seeing them run across the giant backyard! That's the entire reason we picked this house! We are set to close on Thursday and the movers come Friday. Hooray for only 5 more days of hotel living!

Sadly this wasn't all our luggage. We had several more bags and it was then I made the executive decision to send the car seats in the car and rent some from Avis. There would have been zero way we would have made it through the airport!

Loading our cars! This boy was in heaven!!
