Charleston: part 1

For spring break this year we drove down to Charleston to spend a few days. We absolutely LOVED it! I think we could both move to Charleston in a minute. It was so incredibly charming!

Our first morning we were up bright an early to go tour the aircraft carrier.

I had to snap a picture of Bryam taking a picture be said look at him, he looks Iile dad of the year over there!

EC was giving us a briefing :)

We grabbed some lunch before our walking tour.

We bought a groupon for a walking tour through the downtown. It was so good!!! It was only us and one other group and we walked all over getting the history of Charleston. It lasted three hours and the kids were such troopers!

Some of these were from night two when we went and walked around after dinner.

Ice cream after the tour! Bryan's phone said we walked 8 miles this day so they earned it!

Egg dying

I put this off until Easter Day this year but the kids love to do it. We bought a neon egg kit and a tye dye kit and those turn out pretty cool!

Finished product!

Hattie got to hang out too!

Baseball!

Baseball season has started! Ella is playing tball for the first time and she is so excited! She kept saying "it's finally my turn!!" She has been to two practices and is doing so well! She is listening to her coaches and following the rules and that is more than we can ask for. She is playing on the same team with a bunch of her friends so it has been really fun to watch.

Kade is playing machine pitch but missed his first practice because we were out of town so he starts this Thursday and he can't wait! This season all the boys had to be evaluated because they were splitting the league up into an A league and a B league. We found out that Kade made the A league and will be playing with a lot of boys who are quite a bit older than him. We are so proud of him and can't wait to see how much he learns this season!

Ella's Easter party

Ella's class did an egg hunt right before spring break!

The next day we went up to help out with Kade's spring centers. I didn't take a single picture! I love volunteering at his school but the girls are normally with me so trying to keep up with Ella, keep Hattie quiet, and then do whatever it is I'm assigned to do, the last thing I can ever remember to do is take pictures. I normally leave exhausted, hahaha!
