Nanny and Ashlyn visit!

Last week Nanny came to see us and brought Ashlyn with her! We were all so excited! We had the best week, the kids played and played the entire time. We got out some but for the most part they just wanted to stay at home and play so that's what we did the most!

It got warm enough one day for an outdoor movie!!

One day we did take the kids snow tubing at Liberty Mountain in PA. It was so much fun!! Ella wasn't old enough for the big hill and the kiddie hill was slushy so she just sat and watched. Kade and Ashlyn loved it but it wore Kade out. Dragging his tube around from the bottom of the hill to the lift to take you back up was almost too much for him. But he made it work and had so much fun.

My mom and I were dying laughing because after about two rounds on the hill Kade would drag his tube around and then we would find him off to the side of the walkway sitting in the tube. He would say he was just taking a break or waiting for Ashlyn. It was hilarious to see him sitting there. In his defense most of the little guys had their parents pulling their tubes but I obviously couldn't tube be said I'm pregnant. It was heavy and just wore him out!

One day we left the big kids with Bryan and we took Ella with us while we got a pedicure.

It was such a fun week!!

17 weeks

Bryan informed me that I haven't been taking belly pictures with baby 3 like I did with Kade and Ella. I feel like time is flying by at lightening speed but I definitely do not want to forget to document this pregnancy!

I'm 17 weeks and honestly I can't believe that. The first trimester seemed so long but when I think back it really did go by in the blink of an eye. I feel like this baby will be here before we know it!

I am for the most part over the 24/7 nausea and I am so thankful for that! It lasted all the way through the 15th week and I felt like there was no end in sight! There are still things that set me off (like the heater blowing on me in the car and the smell of laundry detergent.. So random) but overall I am able to eat normal food again.

I am exhausted. So so so exhausted. I am waiting for that second trimester energy but I'm thinking that with the two big kids keeping me busy that it's a lost cause. I wake up with energy and simple things like getting everyone dressed make me exhausted again. It's really ridiculous. But growing a human is no easy task, haha!

My cravings are identical to my pregnancy with Kade. I can't get enough fruit or honestly just fruit flavored food. It all sounds so good to me!

At this point we knew the gender with both Kade and Ella. Our anatomy scan is in a couple of weeks but we are still set on not finding out!  We are just so excited to get a glimpse at our tiniest family member.

For the record, I think the baby is a boy and Bryan thinks it is a girl. I have been right twice so we shall see who is right this time!

Selfies are so awkward so I made sure to crop out my face, haha!

March!

It's March and that can only mean that the worst part of winter is over! We made it through this winter 1000000 times better than last. Maybe we knew what to expect or the kids weren't off school as much. Who knows? We actually had a really fun winter but with that said I am so ready for spring flowers and warmer weather!

Our last snow storm was GORGEOUS! Pictures just don't do it justice. Every single branch on every single tree was covered in snow and it was just beautiful.

Timehop

This app has been killing me lately. I wish we could freeze time!!! I want to hold these babies again. :(

Big girl bike!!

On Friday we took Ella to the store and let her pick out a new bike. Up until this point she has only had hand me downs from Kade so it was time for her to have her very own bike! We could have waited until her birthday but by that point we will be half way through the warm season and I wanted her to be able to use it as much as possible.

She picked out a princess bike and off she went with NO training wheels! I've said it once and I'll say it again, second born kids are just scrappy. They learn how to do stuff on their own and want to be like their older siblings that nothing holds them back! I can't imagine how our next little one will be! I will never forget standing and talking to Bryan on the driveway and Ella (who had just turned 2!) came barreling out of the garage on the balance bike screaming "waaaaahhhhooooo!" Not only did we not realize she knew how to ride the balance bike but she was a pro on it! It was awesome and hilarious! Ella has always been pretty intense so her hoping on a bike at 3.5 years old and taking off without training wheels shouldn't surprise us in the least!

There were a few tears of frustration because she couldn't figure out why she was hitting the brakes. But overall this little lady is awesome!
