Blue Angels

Last week the Blue Angels were in Annapolis as part of the Naval Academy's graduation week. They were doing a show on Wednesday so we skipped school and went to watch. This was Kade and Ella's first time watching an air show and once they got over being scared of how loud it was they both loved it! Especially Kade! He kept wanting me to take videos and talked about how awesome or was the entire way home!

Bruce-y

Yesterday we saw a turtle walking around the culd-a-sac. Kade and Ella couldn't quite following the little guy around! We watched him walk across the street and then climb into the snake cave (as Ella calls it) at the end of the driveway. He was there all day so we are assuming that is where he lives! We decided to name him at dinner last night and the agreed upon name was Brucey. :)  I hope he sticks around for a while!

Outdoor fun

We have been enjoying so much time outside lately and that makes us all so happy!

We spent Monday at our favorite park.

I looked over and Kade was doing the monkey bars all by himself!

Big brothers...

We had a large tree chopped down this weekend. I think the anxiety of the event took years off my life. ;)

Mother's Day

I spent the day celebrating with all THREE of my babies. How lucky am I?!?

Spring Field Trip

Each year Kade's preschool organizes two field trips. In the fall the visit the pumpkin patch and then in the spring they visit the farm to pick strawberries. We went on Friday and it was such a fun day! The kids got to go on a hayride, and then got a tour of all the farm animals, and then they finished up in the strawberry fields to pick some to take home. We had gorgeous weather and lots of fun on the farm!

Kade and his best buddy from his class.

Sweet little school friends.

Ella is a teacher's pet. :) She loooooves Kade's teacher and held her hand the entire time.

Outdoor movie!

We invited some of our tball friends over Saturday evening for our first outdoor movie of the season! We had a blast! The kids played their little hearts out and I think everyone had a great time!

We are dinner and then roasted mallows for s'mores! Yum!

Big Hero was the movie of the night. :)

I walked outside and Ella (dressed as Elsa, of course) had all the boys lined up across the trampoline and was leading them in Simon says. She was in heaven! When we asked if she had fun all she says is "I got to play with the boys!" So funny! :)
