Kid's tree, kid's pictures

After our main tree was up in the living room, we went upstairs to decorate the kids tree. For whatever reason I love this little Charlie Brown tree so much! The kids took over and decorated the tree themselves and also took over my phone and took all the pictures themselves! Bryan and I couldn't stop laughing!

Trimming the tree

Pulling out the tree and letting the kids decorate is one of my very favorite holiday traditions. These pictures are all so precious to me.

Their new ornaments this year are Mickey ears we got when we were in Disney World. I wanted a picture but they were way to hyped up at this point!

And these are about as good as it gets on a normal picture of them smiling, hahaha!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was perfect. It was relaxing and very low key. We spent it with just the four of us at home and at the end of the day I sat down and remember thinking that it really couldn't have gone any better. I love my little family and I am so thankful they are mine!

We cooked a turkey the night before just for this guy! He loves him a turkey leg!

We woke up and watched the parade.

And we played some Go Fish. I took this picture to send to my mom, we thought asking for a blue tang was so funny for some reason!

I'm so thankful for my little people!!

Sis was happy to help in the kitchen!

The boys played the Wii pretty much the entire time I cooked. :)

Bryan peeled the potatos (and really dressed up for the occasion!)

Several hours and a few mimosas later, it was time to eat! This was my first time to cook thanksgiving dinner from start to finish by myself. Not going to lie, I was proud!

Carving up the prime rib. Delish!!

My grandmothers cornbread dressing recipe is definitely the best thing on the Thanksgiving menu. My first time to make it and I think my Mimi would be proud!

We said a prayer and it was time to eat!

Later that day, Kade voluntarily unloaded the dishwasher and then asked to vacuum. Who am I to say no?!

We ended the night with Bryan and Ella on the "school bus" singing the wheels on the bus.

It really was a fantastic day!

Thanksgiving feast

On Tuesday I helped out with Kade's Thanksgiving feast at school. I love volunteering as much as I can in their classrooms. It was a fun afternoon but after an hour and a half with hyper 5 year olds I was worn out!

I took who knows how many pictures before we left, I finally have up with this one. Kade's fake smile kills me.

Kade and two of his little buddies! The kids had a snack and then made a craft. Afterwards we all went to the sanctuary for a few games.

Little sis made herself right at home. All the little girls in the class were giving her tons of attention. She was eating it up!

And a few out takes...

Daily Snapshots

So much goodness in our day to day lives. :)

Also, as I was adding pictures I realized it was mostly pictures of Ella. I'm sure it is just a stage but Kade won't let me take his picture at all right now. He literally runs away. Ella on the other hand runs over to pose and asks me a lot to please take a picture. So whether it's a phase or a boy vs girl thing, who knows?!  It is what it is!

Elsa was dance, dance, dancing away at Home Depot on Friday night.

We saw Big Hero this weekend. It was a great movie!

I wish I could trade her places while we grocery shop!

Working on her backbend at 'nastics.'

Oh how many times a day do I get this look...

EC had a dentist appointment today. She told the dentist that all of her teeth broke out of her mouth but not to worry because I glued them all back in. Where in the world does she come up with this stuff?!?!

I need to make a seperate post of our family pictures but I love, love, love this one of Kade!
