Mother's Day

Mother's Day was pretty perfect this year. We started our day at church, followed by lunch and naps. 

After naps we went to the park for a little bit, but left because it was sooooo crowded. We decided to take a little Sunday drive and enjoyed the gorgeous views all around.

Once we were home we sat outside with a fire, a weenie roast was on the dinner menu. After dinner it was baths and snuggling in with a piece of strawberry shortcake to watch out Disney planning DVD. The kids don't know we are going but they were excited to watch regardless. It got Bryan and I really excited about our trip this fall! Overall I had the best day with my little family. They sure are special to me! 

Baseball mom

Kade loves t-ball. Like really, really, really loves t-ball. And that is great because I really love being a baseball mom, there is nothing better that an evening at the ball park!

Historic Ships

I bought a groupon for a tour of four historic ships that sit in the Baltimore harbor. I thought it would make for a fun outing. We decided to go last weekend and it was so much fun! Kade loves exploring things like this! 

We saw four different ships that covered all parts of history. One was the USS Constellation which was used prior to the civil war to try to stop the slave trade from Africa! This was probably my favorite. We also toured a submarine, a lighthouse boat, and a Coast Guard boat that was one of the ships that survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It was a fun family activity! We really enjoyed Baltimore, the harbor area is really fun! 

A lot of the stuff was interactive so the kids could actually try things out!

Frog Ponds State Park

We have been trying to go on an adventure each weekend. We are loving exploring our new area and we are loving being outside. We have had gorgeous weather! 

We started off on a hike.

We had gorgeous views of the Chesapeake bay. We also had a giant cliff right next to us which was terrifying. 

We made it to a beach! It was windy and cold but it was still fun! Kade loved it! I read before we went that you can find a lot of fossilized shark teeth so he had a blast finding shells and digging to find some shark teeth. Ella, well she said she hated the sand so she sat on a blanket with me the entire time. 

Ella wanted to touch the water. And let me tell you, I put my foot in and it was FREEZING!!!! 

This and that

Movie date with my little man! 

I have a love/hate with the time hop app. Look at my baby only two short years ago! I want to reach through the picture and squeeze that bundle of baby love! 

We met some friends at pump it up and EC was excited! 

Bryan ordered a few things so we could steam some crab. And he apparently thinks we are feeding the entire neighborhood. He ordered this spoon to stir with. Oh the "spoon".... 

Friday night pizza party in the garage. We party hard.

Lunch date with me big boy! 

We had some bad weather so they were riding it out in the bathroom. 

School Easter Party

I'm so far behind, I'm trying to power through to get caught up! Several weeks ago Kade has his class Easter party. I love getting to take part in all the kids school activites!!
