First day of MDO

Ella had her first day if MDO last Thursday. She was really excited to get back to school! She will be going one day a week again and is in her same class as last year. We are really looking forward to this year!! 

On her birthday..

On Ella's actual birthday we had a great day! Kade was in school for several hours so we had a great little girls day! 

She woke up a big 3 year old!!! 

We went to get our nails done.

After nails, we went for an afternoon tea. The made all her treats pink and sparkly and she said it was amazing. :)

Once Bryan got home from work she got to open her presents. She was sooooo excited! 

She immediately changed and had to test out her new gifts.

She was 'letting it go' on the driveway.

On his birthday...

Last Tuesday was Kade's actual birthday. 

The night before he went to bed a 4 year old..

And woke up as a FIVE year old! 

When I asked what he wanted to do on his birthday, the only thing he said was that he wanted was a sprinkle donut for breakfast. 

He had school in the afternoon and he was sooooo excited about me getting to bring cupcakes to school. He loved getting to celebrate with his school friends :) 

That evening when Bryan got home, Kade immediately asked to open presents. He was so excited!

Celebrating 3 & 5!

On Saturday we had the kids birthday party! It is so crazy to me that I am celebrating a 5 and 3 year old, I feel like they are still tiny babies! Either way, we had a joint party at a local gym and the kids had the best time!

I keep thinking about it, but one year ago we were new to Maryland and celebrated the kids birthdays in a hotel room because we hadn't even closed on our house yet. And here we are a year later celebrating with all their friends they have made. These little friends and their moms have made our first year here pretty great, and we are so lucky that they all came out to celebrate Kade and Ella.

 

Frozen and Planes were the themes of choice. :)
