We moved and we are officially Texans again! The past few months have honestly been a whirlwind and they haven't been easy. Bryan and I are both vowing to never move again. It was a bit of a nightmare on our selling end and honestly the fact that it all went through is a miracle. Some people are just crazy! We listed the house on the 4th of July, Bryan started work in Fort Worth the end of August, and at the end of September the movers came to pack up the house and we all fly back to Texas together. Our time in Maryland was absolutely amazing. Due to the busyness of a move I haven't really had a chance to think about all we left behind but writing this post made me tear up. So many beautiful memories and friendships were made and I am so thankful for the three years we spent there.
Our house lost all its life the moment it was packed up. It was so sad. We loved this house so much.
Lots of time spent at the park while the movers were packing and loading!
The last few weeks we made the rounds to say goodbye to all our friends. These girls were basically babies when they met! The older brothers played a lot of baseball together and they became such good buddies!
Love our baseball friends!!
Kade saved all his tiger tokens to be able to eat in the turtle courtyard with his friends. The day before withdrew him we all went up to hang out with them.
George was his school BFF. He was so sweet!
So many pics on this front porch. Below is first vs last. Oh my they grew up!
More goodbyes
Lauren was my person in MD. We had only been there for about two weeks when the cashier at Target made a comment about my cowboys hat and I casually said we just moved from Texas. This girl behind me yelled "Hey!! We just moved from Texas too!" I walked out thinking I should have gotten her phone number but didn't. Two days later I was taking Kade to his new preschool and guess who was walking in on their first day?! Lauren and Stella! We became instant friends and I spent so many days hanging out with her and the girls. Our husbands got a log great, we had kids the same ages, she was always my in case of emergency on all the kids paperwork. Just a real true good friend. I remember being told that moving away from family will force me to really create tight friendships. That was so true. Saying goodbye was really hard!
So many memories in this home!
We love these guys so much! They came to swim and have pizza on our last night in La Plata.
The day before we flew home we stayed at a hotel near the airport. We decided to go have a fancy meal to celebrate our last night. The kids were so awesome!
Lots of crap to travel back with!
Bye Maryland! Thanks for the memories!!
